Dolmens and Caves

Cultural tourism

One of the most interesting cultural tourism in Spain, is undoubtedly the archaeological visit to the dolmens and caves in the Peninsula.

They are places, particularly special for their simplicity, but that seen with the eyes of an archaeologist, an engineer or an anthropologist, is able to marvel at the curious message left by our ancestor of the Paleolithic.

Dolmens are megaliths that were built as curious shelters or artificial caves without styling and that are large.

They have had several meanings over time, each culture that has passed has given it a different use.

Until now, scholars do not agree on what their real function is or why they were made, however they are considered sacred tombs for the materials and which they have recovered.

So it is up to each visitor to enter these places and experience different sensations and perhaps discover what they represented in their time.
